FlowClick is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices in relation to the FlowClick: No-Code Web Automator & Click Recorder Chrome Extension.
1. Summary of Data Collection
- Zero External Transmission: FlowClick does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data, recorded macros, keystrokes, form entries, or browsing activities to any external servers, cloud providers, or third parties.
- 100% Local Processing: The entire extension runs client-side on your local computer. All computations, automated actions, and recorded data are processed and executed strictly inside your browser environment.
2. Permissions and Their Use
To enable DOM automation and workflow capture, FlowClick requests the following browser permissions:
- activeTab: Used solely to capture and play back actions on the currently active tab.
- storage: Used to save your recorded macros and settings locally on your machine using
chrome.storage.local.
- scripting: Used to inject visual overlays (e.g. glowing purple element highlights) and execute click simulation controllers inside the target pages.
- Host Permissions: Necessary to interact with web pages during automation recording and replays.
3. Data Storage
All macro files and preferences you record or import stay stored inside your browser's private local storage space (chrome.storage.local). They are never accessible to us or any external parties. You have full control over your data:
- You can export all your macros at any time as portable JSON files via the Backup / Restore button.
- You can delete individual macros or clear all storage local registers from the extension at any time.
4. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make updates, the revised date at the top of the policy will be updated. Your continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
